Science & Origin of Apatite
Apatite is a calcium phosphate mineral found in various colours, such as yellow, blue, green, grey, and brown. However, the most important colours for metaphysical use are blue, green, and gold. Apatite was first discovered in 1786 by A.G. Werner, but its name came from the Greek word “to deceive” because many mistook it for other minerals such as Peridot and Beryl. The largest Apatite deposit is in Kirovsk, Russia, but it can also be found in Brazil, Burma, Madagascar, and Mexico.
