Science & Origin of Chrysocolla

Chrysocolla is a hydrous copper silicate commonly found in conjunction with Malachite and Azurite. Theophrastus first stated Chrysocolla in 315 BC, but it was revived and reported again in 1808 by A.J.M. Brochant. Due to its extensive use in soldering gold, this mineral was named after the Greek phrase for "gold glue." The most magnificent Chrysocolla has come from Chile, the Congo, Russia, and the United States.

Meaning & Energy

Chrysocolla is a stone representing empowerment, communication, and relaxation. People who become unpredictable and overly emotional in stressful situations should take Chrysocolla with them regularly. This stone will aid in lowering panic when you are overwhelmed and allow you to make difficult decisions with a clear head and calm mind. Chrysocolla will help you communicate your views while increasing your wisdom to make these ideas a reality. Chrysocolla is typically worn around the neck at the throat chakra to maximise the impact of its abilities.
