Despite facing challenges, the Zhou established a formidable empire that endured for 800 years.

Data

Just as a seedling breaks through the soil, new opportunities arise. Anticipate obstacles, gather your courage, and embark on a fresh journey. Be ready for a bumpy beginning, whether starting a family, a new job, or a business. Strengthen your resilience and inner resources. Surround yourself with competent individuals who can nurture achievements. Exercise caution in every step you take. Your endeavours will yield positive results.

Yang on Line 1: Building a strong foundation on solid rock demands persistence and determination. It holds great potential for creating a lasting legacy. Zhou rallied his forces, summoning the determination to construct a new realm. Maintaining focus and keeping your objectives in mind are crucial. Proceed with your strategies, seek support, delegate tasks, and you will successfully navigate challenges.

Yin on Line 2: Building momentum, motivation, and strength can be challenging and frustrating. When a woman receives a marriage proposal, she should reject it, even if she has to wait years for another opportunity. The timing is crucial. Initially, Zhou faced significant challenges in uniting the empire. Despite neighbouring kingdoms wanting to ally with him, Zhou turned down their offers to focus on strengthening his kingdom. Prioritising personal and professional growth over forming partnerships is essential, even if an opportunity appears tempting.

Yin on Line 3: When a hunter pursues a deer in the woods without the forest ranger's guidance, he must act ethically. If he decides to continue the pursuit, he will likely regret it. Similarly, at the start of the rebellion against the Shang dynasty, King Wen of Zhou lacked a military strategist's counsel. Without this guidance, the king would have faced humiliation and defeat if he hadn't chosen to advance. Therefore, it is important not to stray from the right path. Reflect on your motives before acting and seek wise counsel to avoid missteps.

Yin on Line 4: While riding in her carriage pulled by trotting horses, a suitor approaches a young woman who asks for her hand in marriage. She should agree to his proposal, which will lead to no remorse. Once feeling safe and assured, Zhou joined forces with their neighbours. Establishing alliances will lead to prosperity. Be open to any opportunities that present themselves.

Yang, on Line 5: Physical activity is necessary when excess fat is stored in the body. While moderate exercise can lead to success, intense workouts can fail. This concept pertains to Zhou's build-up of power (fat) and how they utilised their influence for minor benefits. Proceeding gradually will create opportunities, whereas attempting significant advancements prematurely could lead to calamity.

Yin on Line 6: The girl is seated in a moving carriage, shedding tears of blood. This passage recounts the sorrowful event of King Wen's eldest son losing his life while trying to save his imprisoned father from King Shang. Do not allow setbacks to impede your journey. Leave the negative behind and focus on the positive.
