44.1 初六繫于金柅，貞吉。有攸往，見凶。豕孚蹢躅

The carriage's 'brakes' mean the controlled method of choosing the appropriate people. The 'lean and hungry bears' represent power-hungry but incapable people. 44.2 九二包有魚。无咎，不利賓
Yang on Line 2: The fish are kept in the sack. There will be no mistake. It is disadvantageous to let the fish come near the guests. The "fish" represents mean-spirited and hateful people who must be kept in check. Avoid their company. They seek to pollute the minds of others, contaminating a person's confidence, motivation, and good intentions. You have the power to control your environment and keep negativity at bay. (Note: Some sinologists translate "fish" as sex addicts. Sex without love should be avoided.)
44.3 九三臀无膚，其行次且，厲。无大咎
Yang on Line 3: People whose buttocks have been stripped walk with immense difficulty. It is dangerous, but there will be no mistake. Symbolising criminals whipped with a cane.
