39.0 利西南。不利東北。利見大人。貞吉
It is advantageous in the southwest (Zhou) and disadvantageous in the northeast (Shang). Therefore, it is beneficial to see the great man. Here, 'great man' refers to King Wen, a figure of wisdom and leadership. You are facing a difficult period. Seek guidance and assistance from a trusted friend, counsellor, or lawyer. 39.1 初六往蹇，來譽
Yin on Line 1: To advance will bring difficulties. To wait will get fame. Take action at the appropriate time. When it is not suitable to move (find a new job or mate, ask for a raise or promotion), wait patiently, and you will see positive results. Do not act hastily.
39.2 六二王臣蹇蹇。匪躬之故
