三國時。 姜維原為魏國戰將。 被孔明收服。 姜維智勇雙全。 得孔明器重。 孔明帶兵六出祁山。 病重命危。 將己所著兵書二十四篇。 計十萬四千一百一十二字。 內有八務七戒六恐五懼之法傳授給大將軍姜維。 望其秉承遺志。

During the Three Kingdoms period, a time of political upheaval and military conflict in ancient China, Jiang Wei originally served as a military general for the Wei kingdom. Kong Ming, also known as Zhuge Liang, was a prominent strategist and statesman. He convinced Jiang Wei to switch sides. Jiang Wei was intelligent brave, and highly regarded by Kong Ming. Kong Ming led his troops on six expeditions to Qishan. As he was seriously ill and on his deathbed, he passed on his twenty-four volume military strategy book, consisting of 104,112 characters, which included principles of eight tasks, seven prohibitions, six fears, and five apprehensions, to the Grand General Jiang Wei, hoping that he would carry on his legacy.
