唐三藏信姓陳名禕。 十三歲出家。 法號玄奘。 往天竺（印度）取經。 歷盡艱辛。 四年始達。 學習十五年後返國。 攜回大量佛經。 並譯成中文。 西遊記內述其故事。
Xuanzang, originally named Chen Yi, became a monk at thirteen. He travelled to India to retrieve Buddhist scriptures, enduring countless hardships. It took him four years to reach his destination. After studying for fifteen years, he returned to China with many Buddhist scriptures and translated them into Chinese. His story is told in the "Journey to the West".
