風送滕王閣。 唐朝鹹淳年。 南昌滕王閣重建成。 王勃欲往。 睡夢中水神曰送君一帆。 醒來至江邊。 果見一船。 上船後不久。 即至滕王閣（離家七百里）。 書滕王閣序。 王勃乃唐高宗朝間一秀士。 姓王名勃字子安。 祖貫山西晉州龍門人氏。 善詩。 有頌曰：從來才子是神仙。 風送南昌豈偶然。 賦就滕王高閣句。 便隨仙仗伴中源。 （中源指水神稱中源水君。 暗喻王勃成仙也）
The wind sends [me] to Tengwang Pavilion. During the Tang Dynasty, in the Xianchun era, the Tengwang Pavilion in Nanchang was rebuilt. Wang Bo wanted to go there. The water god said in his sleep, "I will send you with a sail." He saw a boat when he woke up and went to the riverbank. Shortly after getting on the ship, he arrived at Tengwang Pavilion (700 li away from home). He wrote the preface to Tengwang Pavilion. Wang Bo was a talented scholar during Emperor Gaozong's reign in the Tang Dynasty. His surname was Wang, his given name was Bo, and his courtesy name was Zi'an. He was from Longmen in Jinzhou, Shanxi Province. He was good at poetry. He had a poem that said, "Talented people have always been immortals. The wind sending [me] to Nanchang is not a coincidence. I compose verses for the high pavilion of Tengwang. Then I follow the immortal procession and accompany the god of the central source." (The central source refers to the water god, called the god of the central source. It implies that Wang Bo also became an immortal.)
