【上籤申宮】春來花發映陽臺,萬里車來進寶財; 若得禹門三級浪,恰如平地一聲雷。

As spring arrives, the flowers on the balcony bloom. Treasures carried by vessels from miles distance. The waves surged three times over the dragon's gate, shaking the earth like a sudden clap of thunder.

An honour bestowed by the Emperor (someone in higher authority). Very fortunate and favourable.

The Emperor has appointed you. This is not just a mere appointment. It's equivalent to receiving infinite wealth. Everything will turn out well in the end. This Lot is the greatest of the best.

商輅中三元。 三元記。 明朝。 商輅。 浙江人。 父早亡。 商輅三元及第。 喻步步高升也。 (三元即三級試。 鄉試:解元。 省試:會元。 殿試:狀元。 )

Shang Lü won the three top honours. The Record of the Three Honors. Ming Dynasty. Shang Lü, a person from Zhejiang. His father passed away early. Shang Lü achieved the top honours in the three-level examinations, symbolising his continuous rise in status, a sign of hope and optimism. (The three top honours refer to the three-level examinations: the County Exam: Jieyuan, the Provincial Exam: Huiyuan, and the Imperial Exam: Zhuangyuan.)
