Persimmons Shi Zi 柿子

Writer: Jason ChanJason Chan

Persimmons symbolise the fulfilment of all good intentions. Persimmon leaves are smooth like polished jade, and the fruit is orange-red and exceedingly attractive. Persimmons have been treasured by the Chinese since ancient times and have been planted for thousands of years, and golden persimmons have the goal of doing well and are ideal for planting in the yard.
