Sophora japonica Huai 槐

Represent a Striving career on Feng Shui

In ancient Chinese, the 槐官 Huaiguan was associated with the position of the three princes.

The imperial examination has been linked to scholars' merits, fame, glory, and wealth since the Tang Dynasty, and it is their highest ideal to climb this ladder and win the position of the third prince. As a result, the term locust is frequently used to refer to scientific examinations; the year of the examination is called Huaiqiu, the son who goes to the examination is called Huaiqiu, and the month of the examination is called Huaihuang. Huai represents the three princes' positions, and the "Huai" and "Kui" are similar, with the hope that future generations will be blessed by the Que Star God King and join the ranks.

Furthermore, the locust tree has cultural significance as a source of sustenance for ancient migrants and a symbol of good luck and prosperity.
